Rải đều gừng và hành lá vừa thái lên trên tôm đã ướp. Đặt bát tôm vào hấp khoảng 8 phút là được.
Tôm hấp hành gừng giúp những con tôm vẫn giữ nguyên được hương vị tươi ngon, đặc trưng. Tôm chín thoảng hương gừng mà không bị hôi tanh 1 tí nào. Chấm ăn cùng ít muối tiêu chanh thì hết sẩy.
